>> 11.08.2010

Here’s this week’s Fireside Chat.  It isn’t for the faint of heart.

I was heartbroken Sunday night. This loss hurt pretty bad. I understand the frustration of a lot of fans, but I'm personally getting very frustrated with a lot of fans and their narrow-mindedness. In particular the bashing of Stafford for getting injured, as if he could have prevented himself from getting injured by somehow being toughter. I don't believe in the existence of an "injury-prone" athlete. It doesn't make sense... logically or medically. Personally, this game further cemented my belief in Stafford's ability to lead this team to greatness. The bashing of Schwartz game managment is understandable but in the big picture he is doing incredible teams for this teams effort level, execution, and overall performance. There are so many small instances that could have changed the outcome of this game and thats what made it so heartbeaking. To comment on your evaluation of the run game I agree completely, there was absolutely nothing there and something needs to change. Thank you for calling whomever made the "almost comment an idiot.

BTW, famous dave's is amazing...
